Logging in

Student can access http://lms.vcomsats.edu.pk using the valid VCOMSATS LMS username and password.

Can't log in?

If you are not successful in logging into LMS account, please try the following steps:

1. If you have problems logging in to LMS you should first check that you have valid account and password.
2. Check your web browser and clear your browser cache
3. If you are encountering a password issue (for example, you receive an invalid username / password message), try to reset your password.
4. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it if you have a security question and answer.
5. If you are still having problems logging in, please contact LMS HelpDesk or visit your study center for the help.

• Your time must be set to standard internet time
• Your browser cookies must be enable
• Your javascript must be enabled in your browser

Changing your password

Log on to LMS with your student login and your current password.

1. To change your password, log in to LMS.
2. Select the 'Account Settings' link under the 'My Account' heading.
3. Select 'Change Password' link
4. Enter in your current LMS password.
5. Enter in your new password.
6. Re-enter the new password to confirm that you typed it correctly.

Forgotten passwords

If you have forgotten your password and you have a security question and answer, you can reset your password by using the 'Forgot password?' link on the Login page.

You will be prompted with your security question and need to enter your correct answer. You can set a new password as soon as you have entered the correct answer to your security question.

If you have not set a security question, or you do not remember your security answer, you will need to contact LMS HelpDesk or visit your study center for the help.

Changing your security question and answer

Your security question and answer are used to identify you when resetting your existing password. You should choose a security question and answer that is meaningful only to you and cannot be guessed, or discovered by other people.

1. To change your security question and answer:
2. Log in to LMS.
3. Select the 'Account Settings' link under the 'My Account' heading.
4. Select 'Add/Change Security Question' on the page. 
5. Select a security question from the drop down list. 
6. Enter the answer to your chosen security question.
7. Select 'Submit'.
